6. Regular use of a logbook in which industrial experiences are recorded.

မွာပါတဲ့

Industry-based project ဆိုတာ ေနာက္ဆံုးနွစ္ေက်ာင္းသား/သူေတြ industry ေတြကို intern သြားဆင္းၿပီး ျပန္လာရင္ လုပ္ရမယ့္ Final Year Project ပဲ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ျမန္မာျပည္မွာေတာ့ Mini-Thesis လို႔ သတ္မွတ္ထားပါတယ္ ။ research approach ေတြေပၚမွာ အေျခခံၿပီး တဦးခ်င္း လုပ္ရမည့္ Creation or Innovation FYP ပါ။ ထို FYP က Industry နဲ႔ ဆက္စပ္တဲ့ FYP ဆို ပိုေကာင္းပါတယ္။ ၿပီးခဲ့တဲ့ TUs/MTU/YTU အားလံုးရဲ႕ ပထမအသုတ္မွာေတာ့ Students အေရအတြက္မ်ားတာရယ္၊ ဆင္းရတဲ့ industry အခက္အခဲေတြေၾကာင့္ ဆက္စပ္မႈ ရွိတဲ့သူေတြ ရွိသလို၊ အေျခအေနေပၚမူတည္ၿပီး un-related ျဖစ္သြားတဲ့ Students ေတြလဲ ရွိပါတယ္ ။ ICEEI conference မွာ Curtin University : Malaysia က Keynote speaker တေယာက္ကေတာ့ သူတို႔ Curtin Uni မွာေတာ့ သူတို႔ Students ေတြရဲ႕ FYP ကို Final presentation ေရာက္တဲ့အခါ Industry assessors နဲ႔ special lecturers ေတြနဲ႔ အတူ Conference-style ပံုစံျဖင့္ လုပ္ၿပီး ၊ သူတို႔ရဲ႕ FYP ေတြကို journals သို႔မဟုတ္ Conference proceedings ေတြမွာပါ published လုပ္ရတယ္လို႔ ေျပာသြားပါတယ္ ။

❄ ပထမအသုတ္ေတြ ကံေကာင္းတယ္လို႔ ေျပာရမလားပဲ။ အခု ဒီနွစ္ကစၿပီး EEAC ရဲ႕ guideline အရ Integrated Design Project (IDP) ပါလာပါၿပီ။

❄ တနည္းအားျဖင့္ IDP ကို Capstone Project (see figure: credit>>google) လို႔လဲ ေခၚၾကပါတယ္ ။ ဒီေနရာမွာ Capstone မေရာက္ခင္ အတန္းငယ္ေတြမွာ Cornerstone project နဲ႔ Keystone project ေတြကို လုပ္ခဲ့ၿပီးၾကလို႔ ေနာက္ဆံုးနွစ္မွာ IDP ရိွရမယ္ ဆိုေတာ့ (Final Year Project/Mini-Thesis) မတိုင္ခင္ Capstone project (သို႔) IDP ကို ေက်ာင္းသား/သူ ေတြ မလြဲမေသ လုပ္ရေတာ့မွာပါ။

❄ IDP ကေတာ့ groups လိုက္ လုပ္ရမွာ ျဖစ္ၿပီး public health and safety၊ cultural၊ societal၊ project management၊ economy၊ Environmental considerations ေတြ အတြက္ သင္ၾကားခဲ့တဲ့ Core Subjects ေတြရဲ႕ knowledge ေတြနွင့္အတူ complex engineering problems solving ေတြ၊ design systems ေတြ၊ integrating process ေတြပါ ပါတဲ့ IDP တခုကို အဖြဲ႕လိုက္ လုပ္ရမွာပါ။ ထိုအတြက္လဲ Curtin က Professor က သူတို႔ Uni မွာ Progress reports၊ board meetings၊ progress presentations ေတြနွင့္အတူ final presentation ကိုေတာ့ Industry assessors နဲ႔ special lecturers ေတြနဲ႔ အတူ ျပဳလုပ္တယ္လို႔ သိရပါတယ္ ။

❄ မျဖစ္မေန IDP က ပါရေတာ့မွာဆိုေတာ့ IDP အတြက္ Curriculum မွာ အဓိကအခ်က္ကေတာ့ design ပိုင္းေရာ၊ Engineering knowledge ေတြနဲ႔ ပါ၀င္ ဖြဲ႕စည္းတဲ့ real-world design project တခုကို implement လုပ္နိုင္ဖို႔

တခ်ိဳ႕ major ရဲ႕ Course ေတြမွာေတာ့

2. Designing
3. Coordination
4. Project Scheduling
5. Estimating
6. Detailing
7. Documentation
8. BIM Process base on local project

ဆိုၿပီး ျပဌာန္းၾကပါတယ္။ ဥပမာ။ တခ်ိဳ႕ Foreign University ေတြမွာ IDP အတြက္ Lectures (၁၃) ခ်ိန္နဲ႔ Project အတြက္ (၂၃) ခ်ိန္ သတ္မွတ္ၿပီး Credit ကို 10 credit ေပးထားတာလဲ ရွိပါတယ္။
IT နဲ႔ ပတ္သတ္တဲ့ IDP curriculum သီးသန္႔ေတာ့ မေတြ႕ေသးဘူး။ ရွိရင္လဲ share ၾကပါဦး။

❄ က်ြန္ေတာ္တို႔ IT မွာေတာ့ Software Engineering၊ HSS၊ Project Management ေတြကလဲ အတန္းငယ္မွာ သင္ၿပီးၿပီဆိုေတာ့ အျခားေသာ Core Subjects ေတြနဲ႔ IDP ကို Curriculum တခု အေနနဲ႔ ထည့္မသင္ေတာ့ပဲ Students ေတြလဲ ဝန္ပိုမျဖစ္ရေလေအာင္ သင့္ေလ်ာ္တဲ့ အခ်ိန္ေပးၿပီး IDP / Capstone project ကို တန္းသြားရင္ ရနိုင္မလား။
